About Pranav
Pranav Prakash is the Director of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies and a Junior Research Fellow at Christ Church, University of Oxford, UK. Additionally, he is a Senior Fellow of the Andrew W. Mellon Society of Fellows in Critical Bibliography at the Rare Book School, University of Virginia, and a Trustee of the American Printing History Association, New York, US. He graduated from the University of Iowa with a Ph.D. in Religious Studies and from the University of Tehran with an M.A. in Iranian Studies. He specializes in the comparative study of literary cultures, religious traditions and book arts in South Asian and Persian societies.
